Different Strokes for different folks: BS Atelier Nude Dildo Review

Who doesn’t love fucking themselves am I right? Maybe not? I know, I know. Different strokes for different folks. And this review is exactly that. I have to admit, as a writer I had a very hard time writing about my experience with this toy because I felt as if I didn’t know how to efficiently articulate my thoughts with this toy. It’s like it sounded better in my head, but more like “What the fuck?” on paper. And while I may have not had a whole bunch to say, or at least I feel so with this post, my goal in every post is to write with purpose, to help educate others, and to help those who come across the Aquakink, to find great, body-safe sex toys that suits their individual needs. With that being said I tried my best.

The dildo I want to talk you about is The BS Atelier Nude Dildo. If you don’t know who BS Atelier is, they are company out in Madrid, Italy that makes body safe sex toys such as dildos, butt plugs, cock rings, fetish gear, cuffs and whips.  The Nude dildo is 6 inches in length, 1.5 inches in girth, and is made with 100% medical grade silicone.

I normally don’t touch too much on packaging, but will do so because I love how simple it is. No bells, no whistles, just your dildo. It came in a clear, sealed, sturdy plastic zip lock bag with the BS Atelier logo on it, and a small piece of paper that has all of the care and cleaning (mild soap and water, toy cleaner, bleach-water solution, or just boil it) instructions, as well as warranty information, and company contact information. The bag also makes for great storage of your dildo. They also included a sachet of Yes Lube to use with the dildo. I’m assuming any sex toy (dildos, butt plugs, etc.) that you buy from them, also comes with a sachet of Yes Lube as well. Very nice touch.

The dildo design in itself is very nice. It has some veins on the shaft, which adds a nice realistic aesthetic. I would have like to see a little more veins on the toy, but nothing to cry about. The silicone on this toy feels quite nice and has a slight squish to it, and not too much give. You can bend it, but it’s just not very squishy. There are a couple imperfections on the dildo from the mold it came out of, but this is common with companies that make their dildos by hand, and this usually doesn’t affect the performance of the product. I would call the head of the cock, or dildo, what have you, a tall mushroom head. Something shaped like a capitol “A”, but more rounded on the tip. The coronal ridge is superbly raised for g-spotting, and there is a nice flared base, which is great for anal play. So your ass can definitely eat this dildo. I love the realistic skin colors. Especially the darker colors that look like chocolate. Absolutely delicious!

This is where I tell you how I really feel. After a hot and already heavy masturbation session with lots of clitoral stimulation, I had a craving some penetration and something to fill me up. I grabbed the nude dildo looked at it with a bit of perplexity. The silicone on this toy while a bit firm, did have a somewhat decent amount of give (if I didn’t say that enough already), and the coronal ridge is perfect for g-spotting. Deciding not to take any chances with just using my natural lubrication alone, I applied one of my favorite water-based gel lubricants and started to slowly insert the toy inside of me, as I do with all of my penetrative toys with the first use.

Now usually after a clitoral orgasm, my g-spot is really sensitive and loves really fast penetration. However, upon inserting this toy, I felt odd. Rather than my vagina loving what I was putting inside of her, the coronal ridge, which is very pronounced, and felt very uncomfortable. As is it was pushing my g-spot too high. Does that even make any sense? I decided to add some more lube, like allot more lube, and tried again. While that made it better for fast penetration, I have to say that this didn’t work for me. But I don’t blame the dildo. I blame myself for not knowing my own body.

I remembered having a similar experienced with a toy, that the coronal ridge was very raised. While I didn’t enjoy inserting the toy, I did enjoy thrusting with it. As long as I was thrusting with it very fast. The same goes with this toy. It may not make sense in what I am saying about this dildo. But I just couldn’t get with it.

In conclusion, what can I say about this dildo? I think it has the makings of a great dildo. It didn’t work for me how I wanted it to, but it has all the qualities of what a great dildo is supposed to have. It’s body-safe and easy to clean. It has a raised coronal ridge for g-spotting, it’s a decent length at 6 inches and 1.5 inches in girth which great for beginners. Its anal safe and strap-on compatible. It’s an all-around good, all purpose (good for vaginal and anal use) toy.
