Subscription boxes are one of those things people subscribe to as a way of adding organized mystery and spontaneity in their lives. Organized because you usually pay a monthly fee and know when it’s coming to your door and spontaneity because it’s always a surprise as to what’s inside each box. So when I got the opportunity to try one that’s geared towards sex, I jumped at it. I present to you the Organic Loven Try Me Subscription box.

Before we get started I want to note that there are 3 different type of boxes at three different price points that you can subscribe to on a monthly basis or purchase as a one-time gift.
What Inside?
Southern Butter Water-Based Lubricants (Value $ 8.96- 10.00)
These lubricants from Southern Butter came in one ounce bottles, which I thought was a sample size until I looked up its retail value. Based on its price alone, I believe that these are considered to be deluxe-sized samples. They are 100% all-natural as they say on the bottle. Both lubes are free of petroleum, mineral oil, parabens, silicones, and is gluten free. I love the gel-like consistency that each product has. Making these great for all types of sex. My favorite one is the Peppermint and Ginseng because it gives off a cooling sensation without being over-bearing. While this is besides the review for the subscription box, I love the packaging because it has a pump and it’s easy to travel with. Will definitely use.
Swipes Lovin Wipes (Value $ 1.00- 2.00)
Who doesn’t love a good sex wipe? I always welcome a traveling wet wipes for clean up after gettin’ down and dirty. These have all-natural ingredients, are chlorine free, flush-able, and bio-degradable. Making them Eco-friendly.
Fifty Shades of Grey – We Aim to Please Vibrating Bullet (Value $ 14.99)
Since I’m a huge fan of vibrators, this was my favorite item from the box. Bullet-style vibes are my jam and they are an all-purpose item that can be used solo or with a partner to enhance pleasure. Batteries are included so there’s no additional cost for them.
Aqua Lube Natural Personal and Blossom Organics Natural Moisturizing Lubricants (Value $ 1.00)
Both of these lubes, while all-natural, have a gel-like consistency, and both water-based, are essentially the same product. Almost. They have similar ingredients. I received one sachet Aqua Lube Natural and two of the Blossom Organics Natural Moisturizing Lubricant. This values them at $3. Each sachet of lube costing $1 dollar each.

Sexy Seductions by Quiver (Value $8.99)
This is essentially a book that gives you different ideas on how to spice things up with your partner. The book introduces you to different ways of seduction by setting a particular mood, time of day, and a place, along with different sexual techniques to try. The book is also filled with a ton of naked and scantily clad heterosexual people. So I’m assuming that’s the authors intended audience. However, I’m assuming everyone can take something it. It wasn’t my cup of tea. But couples and those looking to try something new may benefit it.
Bijoux Indiscrets Skin Jewelry- Mimi (Value $10.00- 13.00)
These where a miss for me. I think the idea of decorating your titties are cool. However, my nipples are a little bit too big to fit through the hole to get the design to come out as intended. With that being said, it can be used on other parts of the body. So get creative.
Kimono Micro Thin Large Condoms (Value $ 0.50- 1.00)
Condoms in a subscription box can make it go from good to bad, or bad to worse. In this case according to my grading rubric, the condoms are vegan, costs anywhere between 50 cents to a $1 in most places, and I’m most likely to use them since I do like them. And I got 2, which values this product at $2. However, I would have preferred a variety of condoms rather than one specific type. The thing to be mindful of when curating a subscription box with size-specific items like condoms is that you don’t know who the box is for. A small variety pack of condoms, while you can’t guarantee that the user may like the selection, will guarantee that the mood isn’t killed by opening up a box that includes a large sized condom when the user is not large sized.Size isn’t the issue here. Inclusion is.
The Bottom Line
Is the Organic Loven Try Me Subscription Box Worth $48? I don’t know. It’s not that it’s a bad box. It’s just that subscription boxes are always a hit and miss. You’ll get stuff you like, maybe something you love, and stuff you probably won’t even use. It really depends on the user. I think a majority of the box is practical. I was exposed to different brands I never heard of and found some favorites. While I didn’t really care much for the book or skin jewelry, I enjoyed everything else. You can never have too much lube and who doesn’t love a good bullet vibe? I think the items were curated well for the box. Items that are all-natural and body-safe. I would have liked to see more sachets of lube, maybe some massage oil, and a small assortment of condoms. With that being said, I think this something worth trying if you like surprises or enjoy trying new things.
