Clit Bae #12 NU Sensuelle Bobbii Flexible 69 Function Bullet

Is there such a thing as having too many options? For some, the answer is a straight forward, yes. For others, the answer is no. When it comes to sex toys however, there is always a need for new options and variety. It isn’t just the spice of life. For us to say there’s something for everyone in the sex toy industry, we must have options. Even if that means having a ton of them and not knowing what to choose or even where to start. That’s where many other sex bloggers and myself come in. Helping you find the perfect sex toys because there’s no such thing as the one ideal sex toy. Be it your first-ever sex toy purchase or an item worthy of your already existing sex toy collection.

Over here at the Aquakink, we all know that I’m a huge fan of bullet-style vibrators. Ironically enough, Nu Sensuelle was one of my first ever toy purchases with their Nu Sensuelle Point Rechargeable 20 Function Bullet, which I still love to this day so much so that I own 2 of them. So it should be of no surprise that the bullet I’m about to talk about caught my eye.

Design and Materials

The NU Sensuelle Bobbii Flexible 69 Function Bullet is as it says in the name, a bullet-style vibrator that features a curvy silhouette with a pointy tapered tip for pin-point stimulation. Made entirely of silicone, it’s also waterproof, rechargeable, and features a whopping 69, yes 69 vibration functions/settings, and comes in 2 colors: Millenial Pink and Magenta. The one I will be reviewing is in color, Magenta.

A Quick Moment to Reminisce on the Past

A couple years ago, I was in a sex toy shop browsing at the selection of sex toys they had to offer. By then, I had purchased a couple cheap sex toys and was looking to upgrade to something slightly higher in price and quality from the battery-operated things I was experimenting within an attempt to figure out what types of sensations I liked when it came to vibrators. I was testing out some options in the sex shop but found that they were either too expensive or expensive with weak vibrations. Then I came across the Nu Sensuelle Point Rechargeable 20 Function Bullet. A very unsuspecting bullet vibe that was larger than most traditional vibes on the market, but still small enough to be hidden away without the fear of it being found. You, unfortunately, have to worry about these things when you don’t live alone and don’t want anyone to know that you’re slowly amassing a small collection of sex toys in plain sight.

One of the sales associates came over and started talking about the bullet I was holding and saying how many customers complained about it being too strong for them. “Perfect!” I thought, feeling confirmed in my initial reaction to the vibrations. Unfortunately, I was wasn’t ready to commit to the purchase as I was having some doubts. So I bought some Sliquid Stimulating O Gel, which I loved! And went home. Throughout that week, however, I kept thinking about the toy I left behind and regretted not purchasing it on the spot. Not having time to go back to the store, I made my purchase online and never looked back since.

In Use

Jumping back to the present day, when it comes to the brand Nu Sensuelle, it can either a hit or a miss. With that being said, I always hold them to a high standard because they have a special place in my heart. So when they make something shitty, I rip it shreds because I know the greatness they are capable of producing. With that being said, I have to say that the NU Sensuelle Bobbii Flexible 69 Function Bullet is straight FIYAH. Yes, FI-YAH. Or as some more civilized folks like to say {Clears throat}, fire.

The NU Sensuelle Bobbii Flexible 69 Function Bullet takes on a fancy yet simplistic aesthetic with its cylindrical shape and pointy tapered tip with a firm and flexible silicone. My only gripe with it in terms of aesthetics is the limited color options. I would have liked to see this in a black, navy blue, orangey-red, something different and more on the gender-neutral side of things. Bullet-style vibrators are so versatile and great for exploring the sensation of vibrations for all genders, and I feel as though the vibrators coming in 50 shades of pink is just played out at this point. Don’t get me wrong. It’s a lovely shade of pink, but I think it’s time to stop beating the dead “Pink” horse on that one.

Back to the silicone. There is a seam along both sides of the bullet, but in all honesty, you can’t see it unless you’re like me, and your eye for detail is more of a curse than a gift at times. You also can’t feel it when it use or otherwise. The Bobbii takes on a kind of coke bottle shape almost reminiscent of some butt plugs I’ve seen on the market. With that being said, resist the temptation to put it in your ass, ass (see what I did there?) it does not have a flared base. Your ass will eat it in every literal sense of the word. And not in the good way, either.

The silicone is decently flexible with the ever so slightest squish to it, though I don’t really know what conditions that would useful in, since I don’t see the Bobbii being able to fit in to any non–vibrating toy that allows for a bullet to be placed into its cavity unless you use a good amount of lube and spend 10 minutes ramming it in there. Which I don’t recommend. It could potentially cause the silicone of the other toy (i.e., a dildo) to rip or break and you to be pissed that you wasted 10 minutes ramming a bullet into a dildo. What I’m saying might sound silly in theory, but it can happen.

One of the most annoying things I found with many of the NU Sensuelle sex toys I owned in the past was the charging method. The vibes would come with this charger that you have to sit the toy in precisely on those two metal points in the charger to the two metal points in the base of each toy, and that’s how it would charge. I didn’t call it magnetic charging because it’s not magnetic. It was similar to how you would load any of the vibes from the Jimmy Jane Form Series. If you ever had any experience with any of the Form series vibrators from that brand, you would know that it could be quite finicky at times to get a charge. NU Sensuelle fixed that with a USB charger that has a “male” end where you would impale the vibe onto it for charging. Significantly more consistent and reliable than the last method.

Now to the most critical part of this review: The Vibrations. I personally find that motors in vibrators with silicone material transmit vibrations differently than motors in vibrators with plastic material. Hope I didn’t lose you there. Silicone transmits vibrations softer than plastic. It also makes vibrations sound rumblier and appears more on the quieter side at times. So when I first heard the vibrations on the Bobbii, I thought the vibrations were rumbly. But I knew better. You see, NU Sensuelle, in my mind is known for its buzzy vibrating motors. And while buzzy can be bad, I find that for the most part, NU Sensuelle’s motors are pretty good. You know I always tell you when they’re not. Buzzy vibrations usually get a bad rap in the industry because they can be annoying and not reach deep enough to produce an orgasm for some folks like myself.

The NU Sensuelle Bobbii Flexible 69 Function Bullet, however, has buzzy vibrations that are strong, reach deep, and aren’t annoying. Because the Bobbii has that tapered pointy tip, I find that I’m able to get both pinpoint and broad stimulation. But the reason why I have grown to love it is because it has 6 intensities. Not the regular 3 you always get with a bullet-vibe, but 6. At least that’s what I counted. The first intensity to me is what the second intensity would be to a bullet-vibe with three intensities. They have to be some of the most powerful vibrations I have experienced and thoroughly enjoy myself every time I use it. I also like that there’s a three-second delay in the on button, so it doesn’t start buzzing to life right away. NU Sensuelle definitely missed out on a great opportunity to put a travel lock on this one, and I am thoroughly disappointed in them for not taking it.

I know someone’s gonna ask about the patterns, and if I’m being honest, I don’t want to talk about them. Why? Because there’s too damn many that’s why. And believe you me, I sat down and listened to all 69 of them, and yes, there were some favorites even for a girl who likes a ton of consistent vibrations in her life. But if I’m being real with myself, it bullet loses its practicality-factor after 20 vibrations. And that’s for any vibrator on the market because who’s really going to cycle through all of those vibrations to get to pattern #35 or #47 or even #55 unless it can me make hear light and see sound? This is the only time I think a smartphone-controlled app would have been highly beneficial here. And in all honesty, when you see this many vibration settings programmed into a vibe, its because an engineer got a little too ecxited. With being said, there’s a vibration setting for everyone in this vibe, I’m sure of it.

Final Thoughts

All in all, I have to say that this has to be one of my favorite bullet-style vibes this year. I got exactly what I expecting in terms of powerful vibrations and was very surprised by the overall quality of this bullet vibe. Despite my complaints, most of them being a combination of subjective and trivial, I can recommend the NU Sensuelle Bobbii Flexible 69 Function Bullet with confidence.
