Le Wand Rechargeable Massager

Maybe you’re someone who enjoys the finer things in life. Or maybe you just like nice things. Things that are both aesthetically pleasing and powerful. Maybe you’re a jet-setter who likes travel with a pleasure gadget or two and is in the market for something new. If that’s the case, then the Le Wand Massager may be for you. Hey, that rhymes! You go Tiff! [Gives myself a high-five]

Design and Materials

The Le Wand Massager is made of silicone and ABS plastic, is rechargeable, has 10 vibration speeds and 20 vibration patterns, comes with a travel case, and a free disposable multi use texture cover which looks exactly like a Tenga Egg. It can be put over the head of the Le Wand for texture and added stimulation. The texture cover is made of TPE which is a porous material.

*Side Note: As it pertains to the multi-use texture cover included with the Le Wand and my personal experience with products made with TPE, you can reuse the texture cover more than once by simply washing it with mild soap water and letting it air dry. However, it is not a forever product and you eventually with have to dispose of it. It is porous and can hold onto bacteria. It cannot be completely sanitized. After 2-3 uses, if you do choose to reuse it, throw it away.

Though I want to ignore what’s right in front of me, I can’t. I wasn’t going to mention the similarities in the design of the handle looking like the Magic Wand Rechargeable or the head of the Le Wand looking eerily similar to the Doxy series of wands. And while I normally don’t bring stuff like that up in my reviews, I simply can’t ignore it since I just so happen to own both of those wands. There are some features that both wands don’t have that the Le Wand Posses so let’s talk about that.

Looking beyond that, this wand is really pretty and gentle looking compared to other wands within the same category. You know, those wand massagers that are ridiculously strong and sound like a power tool? They don’t always look very stylish look to them and I like that the Le Wand comes in white with rose gold accents and Grey with silver accents. Both color options are not stark and sharp in color intensity but has a softness to them complements their overall design.

A Global Ready Vibrator?

A global ready product is defined as an item that can be used or adapted to anywhere in the world. So you’re probably saying to yourself “Aren’t all vibrators Global Ready?” And the answer to that is simply no. Depending on what country you buy your vibrator in, it is set to that countries specific plug if it’s not rechargeable via USB. Vibrators like the Le Wand have allot of power and therefore requires a charger more powerful than a mere USB. So when you travel, if you want to use your toy that requires you to plug it into an outlet to use it, you have to buy a converter. The Le Wand’s charger comes with a set of international adapters and the charger itself is interchangeable.

This was a great move for Le Wand for 2 reasons: 1. You don’t have to buy a set of adapters to charge the Le Wand if you choose to travel to a different country with it, and 2. Le Wand saves on packaging by including a charger that is interchangeable with those international adapters, makes this toy easier to gift to someone who is overseas.

One thing I am not completely sure about is whether or not it’s okay to plug-and-play with this toy. That means that the toy can be used while it is charging. The charger cord is pretty long and it does turn on when the charger is plugged in, but I don’t know if it can be used that way. I have had other toys similar to this one that I can do that with, but since I’m not 100% sure, I won’t recommend it.

Another thing that makes Le Wand global ready and travel friendly is that it has a travel lock. Because of this, you won’t have to worry about it accidentally turning on and you can put it in your checked luggage without that worry. If a toy doesn’t have a travel lock and is rechargeable, it’s usually suggested that you drain the battery so it’s dead, and them charge it when you get to your destination. But if you want to use it as ASAP, you can’t. With the Le Wand, you can charge it before you leave, put the travel lock on, and take it off and use it when you’re ready without having to wait for it charge.

In Use

The first thing I noticed when I turned on the Le Wand was the noise. Why is it so damn loud? It literally sounds like a drill. There’s no way you can use with this thing without someone thinking you’re doing some type of construction in your bedroom. Don’t get me wrong. I have had my fair share of loud vibrators. Vibrators with large motors can sometimes be loud. That makes perfect sense to me. But with that being said, this has to be one of the loudest vibrators I have ever used. I was annoyed that it wasn’t more on the quitter side but I couldn’t be mad at it since the Le Wand doesn’t make any guarantees on being a “quite” vibrator.

It does however boasts about being powerful. With 10 vibration speeds and 20 vibration patterns, the Le Wand almost does too much in a good way. I’m not much of a pattern gal, but did find some of the patterns to be nice and being able to adjust the speed of each vibration is a nice feature. When holding the Le Wand, the weight is evenly distributed so one side doesn’t feel heavier than the other. That’s a big pet peeve for me as I hate when one

The Le Wands vibrations are buzzy with a little bit of rumble. Some may find that to be annoying but I feel that the Le Wand makes up for it in power. And with 10 vibration speeds, cumming with this thing was not a hard task. Because the vibrations are more on the buzzy side, I find that the broad stimulation that it provides feels good. Pacing myself with the Le Wand is important though as I can get over stimulated with it.

Le Wand Spiral Texture Cover

A stated before in the beginning, the Multiuse Spiral Texture cover comes included with the Le Wand. It is made of TPE and in my opinion, is very reminiscent of the Tenga Eggs which I really like using with my partners. Paring this with the Le Wand, my natural wetness or some water-based lube was a pleasant combination. Rubbing the wand in an up and down motion over my labia paired with the vibrations felt good. My only gripe about the texture cover is that there is another multi-use texture cover that Le Wand sells, the Droplet Texture Cover, which is made of the same materials as the one I tried out of the box. I would have liked to see both them included in the box rather than just the one. But that’s just me.

Le Wand Ripple Silicone Attachment

I was given the opportunity to pick out one of the silicone attachments try with the Le Wand. I decided to choose the Ripple attachment since I wanted to try something with some texture to it and like that the tip of this attachment was somewhat pointed and I found it to offer the pinpoint stimulation I was looking for. I found that the vibrations transfers very well throughout the attachment and didn’t feel that it was dulled down in any way. The attachment is made of silicone which is really thick. The attachment also feels fairly heavy in the hand. It says that is in fact weighted but the only materials I see that it was made with is silicone.

I enjoyed thrusting with the Ripple attachment and found that the bumps on it gave plenty of opportunity for my g-spot to be stimulated as the bumps kept in constant contact with my-g-spot while thrusting. I tried using it with the Le Wand turned on internally, but found that it wasn’t very comfortable to thrust with. So, I use the attachment internally with Le Wand turned off and externally for my clit with it turned on.

Final Thoughts

The Le Wand offers something that you don’t see too much of in the sex toy market: A pretty wand vibrator that is powerful, travel-friendly, and convenient. I have not seen many wand vibrators with large motors such as this feature a travel lock and that’s a big deal for me because I like traveling with my vibrators. The noise level on the Le Wand is a con for me and I find that I don’t use it unless I’m home alone or at someone else’s place. And $170, it’s a luxury vibrator that looks the part in aesthetics and in power.

I don’t know if I can recommend the Le Wand to a wide array of people, but if you like powerful vibrations, like to travel with your toys, wand something that looks pretty, and don’t mind the noise, I highly recommend the Le Wand to you. If you have a jetsetter in your life who loves giving themselves massages on the go, this would make a great gift for them.
